About post promotion

Tapylapy does not offer a separate "advertising" or "business" account type. Any user can, directly from their regular personal account, select one of their existing posts and run paid promotion for it using Tapylapy coins — the same way this works on other social platforms.

A promoted post can be about anything lawful: personal content or ideas, a product you sell, a service you offer, or any other activity — the only requirement is that the content fully complies with our Terms of Service and Safety Policy, i.e. it does not violate any platform rule.

How promotion works

Simple & direct
  1. Pick a post: any post already on your account.
  2. Set a budget and duration: using Tapylapy coins from your in-app balance.
  3. Quick review: to confirm the content complies with our Terms and Safety Policy.
  4. It appears as Promoted: to a wider set of users whose interests match it.

Pricing & payment

  • Promotion is available only to persons 18 years or older, under our Terms of Service — because coin top-ups themselves are restricted to that age.
  • Promotion is paid in Tapylapy coins only — there is no separate advertising currency.
  • When you create a campaign, its full budget is reserved from your balance immediately, then consumed gradually based on actual views or clicks under the pricing model you chose.
  • Any portion of the budget not actually consumed (because it didn't achieve enough views/clicks) is automatically refunded to your balance once the campaign ends naturally or is cancelled by you — you only ever pay for what the campaign actually delivered.   • Campaigns with an unusually high budget require additional identity verification under our AML/KYC Policy — this is a general protective measure, not a separate "advertising account."

What can be promoted

  • Personal content, products, services, online shops, or any other lawful activity.
  • If the post is a commercial ad or promotion, it must be clearly disclosed within the post itself, under our Terms of Service.
  • If the post results from a paid collaboration with another party, that paid relationship must be disclosed within the post itself (e.g. a "Paid partnership" label), consistent with marketing-disclosure laws applicable in your audience's country.
  • Not allowed: any content that violates our Terms of Service or Safety Policy, including unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.
